The journey of helping children with special needs began many years ago when watching my brother, Robert, who has Down Syndrome, experience the school system.
Through becoming a certified special education teacher with both Bachelor’s and Master degrees in Education I experienced the broken system first hand.
Teaching by day and helping my student’s parents by night I knew my ambition for creating a better system was born.
After 14 years of IEP consulting, the 7 Strategies for Special Education Success ® program was developed and is utilized nationwide. This program is the ONLY system created to give parents a clear plan on what their child needs from special education services and ACTION STEPS to achieve desired outcomes.
I look forward to working with you as we move onto higher expectations and exceeding special education standards.
