As many of you know we are facing a crisis in IL. Already ranking 51st in the nation, our legislators are voting on a budget that will extinguish many of these minimal services that are currently being received. The crisis is already in motion, jobs have been cut in the past two weeks, people with disabilities of all ages are being denied services they have had for years and our waiting lists are becoming longer.
Please take the time to make your voice heard over the next few days as more budget decisions are being made. Tom Cross has asked us to “keep telling our stories” to assure our concerns stay at the top of the priority list.
